East and West Ridge Animal Hospitals, two collaborative sister locations in Klamath Falls, Oregon, are searching for an experienced veterinarian to join our team as Co-Medical Director.
Qualifications and Experience:
This is an excellent opportunity for doctors with 3+ years of clinical experience who are looking to take the next step in their career and have a devotion to mentorship and teaching. Extra consideration will be given to those with proven leadership skills, tenacity, and adaptability. Must be licensed (or willing to become licensed) in Oregon.
Responsibilities:
As a Co-Medical Director, you’ll help Dr. Whitaker lead two companion animal hospitals, primarily focusing on team mentorship, culture, and retention. We’re searching for an experienced doctor who will build upon our hospital’s current strengths, while elevating our services and encouraging new business ideas. Small animal veterinarians who are confident in surgery, have great bedside manners, and find fulfillment serving as a mentor would be excellent additions to our team. We’re also happy to support and build your personal professional interests (ultrasound, surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, whatever it may be!) Prior experience with exotics is a plus, but not required.
Scheduling:
As Co-Medical Director, you will spend time at both of our locations in Klamath Falls (6 miles between the two facilities). This is a full-time, Monday-Saturday role, preferably comprised of 4 ten-hour days, but we’re open to discussing alternative options. There are no on-call or emergency after-hour responsibilities in this role. Part-time coverage may also be considered.

- Exciting bonus program / relocation assistance
- Medical Director stipend
- Revenue incentives for clinic growth
- Four-day work week
- NO after hour on-call/emergencies
- 120 hours of PTO annually (with rollover)
- Medical, dental, and vision (with HSA option)

- Paid license renewal fees
- Paid membership dues
